Business license procurement is really signing up to pay taxes in Delaware. When you apply for the business license you are saying to the State "I do business here and would like to set up a tax account".

IncorpToday can help you get your business license or you can do it yourself with the State of Delaware Division of Revenue. They provide forms you may send in. Expect to have your license sent to our office in approximately four weeks.

If you need anything other than a general services business license there will be additional fees. You will be billed and you may pay the annual license fee by check directly to the State. After the initial service, you may administer your license yourself.

IncorpToday will obtain a Delaware general services business license for your company. A temporary license will be obtained within three business days with the license certificate following in approximately 10 days. The license will be posted conspicuously at our location as required by State law. Please note that the license issuance will trigger filing requirements with both the State of Delaware Division of Revenue (Income, gross receipts, etc...) and the United States Internal Revenue Service. Your company MUST have a Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN) to make use of this service.

After the initial service, you may administer your license yourself. The State of Delaware business license is good from January through December. The license fee is prorated. Don't forget to ask us about procuring your next year license if you begin service in December!

Please note that our $265 fee is an annual fee subject to a minimum terms of 12 months. An one month termination notice applies to this service.
