Why do you request me to fax you both sides of my credit card?
2009.05.07

By law we need to verify the identity of the applicant. Also, our bank processor request that we verify the cardholder. We cannot verify that you are the genuine cardholder without asking that you provide both sides of your credit card (in the same manner obtained in a retail store). This way, we can verify that your name is printed on your card and also that your signature matches the one made on the confirmation invoice.

There are no security issues once we have obtained full details of your card information when placing an order via our secure SSL on our website. Sending us both sides of your card only allows us to protect you and your business by verifying that you are the true cardholder of the card being used for our services. This verification method helps us prevent charge-backs and fraudulent transactions.

Some of our clients prefer, when faxing a copy of both sides of their card, to truncate (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-7777) the numbers for security purposes. You may also hide the CVV on the back of the card. We need to verify that the name you provide us matches the name on the card and that your signature matches the one shown on the confirmation invoice. Nothing else.

This information must be provided when placing an order on our website.

If you have already placed your order, simply let us know and we will cancel your order and refund the money.
