The franchise tax imposed by the State of Delaware is a tax on LLCs and corporations and are charged merely for existing in that state.

For LLCs, the tax is due by June 1st the year after your LLC is formed.

For corporations, the franchise tax is due to Delaware by March 1st of the calendar year following your company's formation.
